My Personal Overview of Brandy

Brandy Melville could be described as that "secret" brand that it seems like nobody knows about .... but actually, most girls know about it - and choose to not share about it! Now, as much as everyone loves the brand, their stores are limited across the United States, as well as worldwide. This makes their clothing hard(er) to get, but fear not, they have an online store! 

Now, let's not pretend that we haven't looked at the reviews for Brandy and stopped yourself to question whether or not you should order. There have been good and bad reviews, but here is just a short summary of my experience with ordering from Brandy Melville Online!

I've been ordering off Brandy's online website since Feb 2012. I'm going to break down my review of their website into a couple of categories: 

Ordering:
Brandy Melville's items DO go out of stock fairly quick, so I would recommend you placing your order as soon as possible, especially if you see something you really like! Shipping is free with a purchase over $50. I believe it ranges depending on where you live, but standard shipping starts from $11 or $12 for me and goes up from there. 

Processing:
Processing time for Brandy can really depend. Recently (as of Nov. 2012), I've placed 3 orders in the last month and the processing time has only taken them either one day, or two. There have been cases in the past where I've waited almost a week though. But Brandy Melville has listened to their comments and have really improved! 

Shipping:
Personally, I've never had a problem with the shipping from Brandy Melville. They ship from Los Angeles, California. I'm lucky to live near that, so when they ship out my order, it only takes me a day to get it. Brandy does NOT email you your shipping number, you have to log into your account, and under "My Account", you can find a list of your orders as well as your shipping number. They ship via FedEx with signature required upon acceptance of the package. 

I have heard stories of people saying they never get their shipping number, or that their package got shipped somewhere else. While this may be true for those reviewers, based on my experience and 16 orders off their website, this has never happened to me. 

Live Chat: 
Their live chat option is the BEST thing about ordering online! Their representative, Gloria, is extremely helpful! You can ask her anything and they will try their best to help you - and they can almost help you with anything! I believe the only thing she can't help you with is returns, but she can give you information regarding your return, or direct you to someone who can!

Returns:
Now, I haven't had the best luck with returns with Brandy. BUT I know they are improving right now, but I haven't made a return recently because I'm still scared over past experiences I've had with their returns department. You have to pay for your own shipping label if you want to make a return. The problem I've had with the returns is that it takes them soo long just to refund me. The whole process of the return has taken up to 3 months for me before, and that is with me constantly calling them to remind them of the refund. I'm sure they have improved now, but due to the fact that all my returns in the past have caused me a lot of trouble and a whole lot of headaches, I have tried to avoid making a return in order to save me time.
